Arabic Teacher
Required Specifications:
- Educated to a Bachelor’s Degree level in a related field
- At least 3 years’ experience teaching inInternational schools
- Native Arabic Speaker.
- Good command of the English language.
- Knowledge and previous experience in teaching Arabic studies based on the curriculum provided by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Teach the class assigned by the School Principal.
- Plan, prepare and deliver effective lessons in line with the School’s curricular aims.
- Self-evaluate and review teaching methods, material and schemes of work and make changes as appropriate.
- Commit to in-service training (INSET) and continuing professional development (CPD).
- Maintain a well-managed classroom with a good work ethos.
- Assess pupils’ performance effectively and in a timely manner and provide appropriatecomments.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the areas of the curriculum you teach.
- Maintain records and write reports on pupils’ progress and development.
- Discuss progress with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Make an active contribution to the School’s Enrichment Program and Inter-Houseevents’ program.
- Undertake pastoral duties as required and be responsible for the social and emotional development of the children.
- Provide opportunities to foster the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of all pupils.
- Undertake supervisory duties in line with published rotes.
- Provide cover for absent colleagues if necessary.

Shadow Teacher
Required Specifications:
- Educated to Degree level or Diploma in Childcare/Education.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in International Schools.
- Must have experience working with children (age 3-7 years).
- Physically able to perform duties as required by this active role.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal skills.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Providing support to assigned child with mathematics, reading and writing on an individual basis.
- Giving extra help to assigned child with special needs or those for whom English is not their first language
- Helping develop appropriate activities and/or resources to support child’s learning
- Promoting inclusion and acceptance of the student within the classroom
- Encouraging the student to interact and work cooperatively within the classroom
- Observing, recording and supporting the development and progress of the student to identify individual needs and difficulties in relation to their progress and achievement.
- Responsible for student’s conduct and supporting the teachers in managing class behavior.

Math and Science Teacher
Required Specifications:
- Educated to a Bachelor’s Degree level in Education or related field, specialization in Mathematics and/or Science.
- At least 3 years’ experience teaching in British Curriculum schools.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal skills. Native English speaker preferred.

Social Worker
Required Specifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child Psychology or related field, previous experience working in the same role for a primary school or any other institution working with children; possession of skills to perform essential job functions.

- Help students function effectively in the school environment.
- Assess areas in which students may require assistance or counseling.
- Communicate with parents, teachers and administrators.
